I don't know about you but I am constantly learning (the hard way) about effective communicating. It seem like Pres. Hinckley's advise here would do us all well. The best way to communicate is quietly. I need to apply this to my life because I am constantly yelling at my kids to do this or that and I notice that even with my hubby, it's when we start speaking over each other or with a loud voice that things can heat up fast.
