Be a Mother who Knows

Today's back-to-school focus is on being a mother who knows. To me, that means, being a woman that knows who she is and what her purpose is.  This is important in our time.  There are so many things that take us away from what truly matters. Some are good things, some, not so much.  I really like this quote by Julie B. Beck that challenges us as mothers, as woman, to do less than what we absolutely need to do, which sometimes that means doing the minimal requirement for success in our families, like what Linda S. Reeves said in her awesome talk, if you just do prayer, scripture study and weekly family home evening...you're good.   For women, this is hard because we are exceptionally good at doing way more than is required and trying to literally do it all.  She says:

That is so profound.  I especially love the part where she says,

"Choose carefully and do not try to choose it all."

For today's giveaway, we are giving away a mothers who know planner to 3 different winners along with 2 sticker sheets, a pen holder, a bookmark, some cute clips, 2 stampers and a cute pen.  Wahoo.

  1. Would love a Mormon mom planner. As a new member of the Church, a mom to 2 teenagers, and a student/Caregiver, this would be perfect.

    1. You will need to make it public at least for the day you're trying to win the goodies. Even if you just made it public at midnight for one hour so I can see it when were gathering the names together for the drawing.

  4. Is putting the hashtag "mormonmomplanner" the same as tagging you? When I click on "tag people" it wants me to click on people in a photo. Sorry! New to instagram here!
